went to Italy for the last week of summer with my friend Nachiket.  ran into Nolan while we were there and we were just straight booling.  lots of carbs were consumed.

went to Peru in July through an ROTC program called CULP (cultural understanding & language proficiency) where we collaborated with the Peruvian military academy aka Chorrillos.  my lack of spanish was evident but our experiences transcended the language barrier.  sounds eloquent, I know.  this was a super international summer, where I spent a month in Cape Town, a month in Peru, and a week in Italy!
to preface, traveling is not a passion or hobby, it's definitely a privilege, and I throw a prayer up every day for the opportunities I'm given.
